The first stage of the Epicenter K Logistics Center in Khmelnytsky was put into operation

Epicenter K has completed the construction of the first phase of a modern logistics center in Khmelnytsky. This facility, which was designed to meet the company's specific needs, plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of supply chains across Western Ukraine, serving 33 shopping centers in the region. The center is unique due to its scale and the use of innovative technologies that have no analogues in Ukraine.

According to Yuriy Yakovlev, conceptual director of logistics development at Epicenter K, the center is fully adapted to the company's needs. The second stage is scheduled to open in December, where the world's most advanced technologies will be introduced. Oleksandr Popov, Logistics Director, adds that the robotic zone will serve 11,000 pallet spaces without human intervention, ensuring high speed of goods processing.

The project is characterized by energy efficiency and autonomy. The next phases will include the implementation of environmentally friendly solutions in the cold rooms. Yevhen Vlasenko, Head of the Logistics Project Department, notes that automated stackers that lift pallets to a height of up to 27 meters will significantly increase the storage capacity on the same area.

In addition to its main function of ensuring the storage and delivery of goods, the logistics center will contribute to the development of the region by creating new jobs and increasing tax revenues to the local budget.

The construction of this project is carried out by the construction company Kyivtransbud, which has a portfolio of more than 550 thousand m2 of warehouse and retail space.

"We have been cooperating with Epicenter Group since 2006 and have built many warehouses for them. However, we are building projects of this scale and content for the first time. It is nice to see the development of the network and the use of modern technologies. The logistics center is a truly modern, beautiful, technological facility. I'm sure it will serve for a long time," says Andriy Havrynev, Director of Kyivtransbud.
